Hell of a Day!!!

**Warning** this post is not for the squeamish **

Most of my days are not glamorous!! But today was out of the ordinary.... We've been hit with some kind of stomach flu. Gavin had it first, yesterday all I did was hold him and clean up puke. This morning he was doing so much better so I thought it was the end of it.... oh baby was I wrong!!!

Like That, Here have a closer look.....

Yeah, Drake comes up to me as I'm cleaning poopy bums and is having trouble talking, I look up and see he's covered in vomit! I scoop him up run to the bathroom as he proceeds to puke all over me, him and the floor. (Now mind you I've just left a baby alone without a diaper on) as Drake finished up puking in crawls my two little ones - one bare bummed - I decide to not even try and clean them up, I just stripped them down and put them in the tub....
Talking with Drake I asked him what happened, he said he got sick in his room - I poked my head in and saw that he had just sprayed the place. Since Josh was on his way home, I decided once again not to even try and clean it, I shut the door and waited for Daddy...
Once Josh got home, and was about knocked over by the smell in Drake's room, he helped me get everyone out of the tub. He took them all into the Little's room to dress them while I tackled the huge mess waiting for me.

As I'm scrubbing the floor I hear Josh Yell out a very panicked "NICOLE" he comes tearing out of the bedroom with Kyler who is now erupting vomit like a volcano, he and Josh are both Covered. I take him from Josh and hold him over the bathroom sink, strip him down, clean him up, wrap him up and just held him! My Poor Sick Babies!!!

My night goes on like that up until... well now!

I've left 4 times while writing this to go run kids to the sink to puke or pull them out of a puddle in their bed..... This is definitely one of those days were I wonder what the heck God was thinking when he blessed me with those 3 kids....

Vanem Isom is Home!!

I'm a little late in posting the fantastic news that my baby brother Dallan is HOME from his Mission!! Dallan served an Honorable mission in the Baltic State, Estonia. My family went to go pick him up (My family didn't go due to all the babies :). After almost 3 VERY LONG weeks they returned, September 3rd. He looks so good!! He's even taller than when he left (if you can believe it). He has a slight accent, and has to think twice about speaking in English again.
It was so good to see him come down those airport stairs! We had the whole family there to support his arrival! I made name tags for everyone that had a fun or shocking fact that would be new for Dallan to hear upon his return. It made for a fun conversational piece among us and for him.

(I bawled like a little baby!!)
(Dallan was shocked by his 2 new identical nephews)
(Drake was younger than the twins when Dallan left - this was a big change for him)

We Love You Uncle Dallan! Welcome Home!
